In recent years, nanotechnology is being actively implemented in our life, especially the progress in this field is observed in industry and medicine. The use of nanotechnology in the agricultural sector has lagged far behind, despite the growth of scientific papers on the subject. In the field of plant protection, significant decrease in the consumption rates of protectants and their harmful effects on the environment is indicated as benefits of nanopesticides. In the previous studies we have tested several compositions of plant protection products with such delivery systems as polysaccharides prepared by “green” technology. As a result of these studies, polysaccharides have shown high efficiency in increase of solubility and permeability of lipophilic plant protection products. The important task in the development of effective product for seed dressing is increasing of adhesion and penetration efficacy. However, the question is which factor is more important for plant protection or what factor plays the main role in the activity of the protectant - the amount of protectant on the surface of the seed or amount penetrated into the grain? This question remained unanswered in previous experiments, and is the aim of the present study by preparing the compositions based on tebuconazole and polysaccharides. The biological effectiveness of all compositions have been studied. The results of the studies carried out will make it possible to better understand the effect of drug penetration into plants on the possibility of improving their efficiency and increasing the yield of grain crops.
